Pithom (PiĀ“thom)

An Egyptian store-city mentioned in (Exod 1:11). It was built by Israelite slave labor not long before the exodus. Many scholars locate Pithom at modern Tell el-Maskhuta in the eastern Delta.

Exod 1:11

11Therefore they set taskmasters over them to oppress them with forced labor. They built supply cities, Pithom and Rameses, for Pharaoh.
